Shaik Mehbubi, wife of Shaik Amir Basha, is a dedicated mother of two sons—Sheik Meherbasha (17) and Sheik Zakir (15). Her husband earns ₹20,000 per month working in a private company, which was insufficient to meet household expenses and their children's education. In 2024, Mehbubi joined the JMJ HASSS Self-Help Group and actively participated in its programs. Through HASSS support, she received a ₹50,000 loan and started a curry point in Suraram. M. Yadamma, a 48-year-old housewife from Medipally Kalan village, lives with her husband Mr. Sooraiah, an agricultural farmer, and their two daughters aged 25 and 22. The family’s income, dependent on seasonal farming, was insufficient to meet major financial needs, especially the marriage of her elder daughter, Ms. Shailaja. In this difficult situation, Yadamma approached HASSS for assistance. Understanding her need, HASSS extended a loan of Rs. 50,000. With this support and additional help from other sources, Yadamma successfully organized her daughter’s wedding.
