A. Chandra Kumari, a member of Agnes Mahila Sangam, Shapur, joined the HASSS Self Help Group in 2023. Her husband, Venkataramana, works as a private employee in a nearby factory, earning Rs. 15,000 per month. The couple has two sons, A. Tarun and A. Vinay, studying in 7th and 5th standard respectively in a private school in Shapur. Skilled in tailoring, Chandra Kumari approached HASSS for support. With a loan of Rs. 25,000 provided by HASSS, she purchased a sewing machine and began stitching blouses. Now earning Rs. 300 per day, she significantly contributes to managing household expenses. Vishala, a 30-year-old resident of Shapur in Ranga Reddy District, Telangana, joined the Arogya Matha HASSS group in 2023. Her husband, Mr. Vigneshwar, works as a private employee earning Rs. 19,000 per month, and the family lives in a rented house. They have two children, Somesh and Sahasra. To ease the financial burden on her husband, Vishala approached HASSS for support. Recognizing her dedication and active participation, HASSS provided her a loan of Rs. 50,000, which she used to start a cloth store in Rodamestry Nagar, Shapur. Today, she is an independent entrepreneur and contributes to her family’s income by earning monthly income of Rs.8000/-. She expresses heartfelt gratitude to HASSS.
